John Willmott is the keeper and guide of the Carrowcrory Labyrinth Gardens on the Sligo-Roscommon border. He also serves as a companion for poetry, journaling, herblore, treelore, waterlore, weatherlore, foodlore, tree hugging. John has been storytelling, performing folk plays, writing poetry and songs for 60 years. His latest book is Bathing In The Fae’s Breath, a tree hugging compendium, and is being followed up with Bathing With The Síle, and some of this new work will be shared at Ardagh.
Claire Roche is a singer songwriter and storyteller who accompanies herself with various harps and piano. Her themes are love, loss and finding peace. Her voice and performance are an enchantment that listeners forever yearn more of. Claire also accompanies John with some of his work. Claire was born and raised in Dublin, and lives in South Dublin today as well as at Carrowcrory Cottage where she performs for several international visitors. Claire has travelled with her songs and music through the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and around Europe several times and has released 7 albums.
